Safe to take Ivermectin and Primaqine every day?

Hi guys,

about to start this week on my anti-amoeba/ anti-protozoal protocol.

Part of it calls for Ivermectin and Primaquine, though I keep finding different info on whether or not its safe to take every day for months on end.

Though I haven't read anything to suggest that its unsafe to take reasonable doses of these 2 drugs daily, since their half lives are not that long, so there'd be no buildup of the drug to induce toxicity.

My plan was to take 12mg of Iver and 30mg of Primaquine, both considered moderately strong doses, every day until symptoms change/resolve [of course common sense reigns, if I'm at month 2/3 with no changes I would stop].

Hey texbart/floridadude, nice to see ya here too..either you have one hardcore doctor or you are very brave ...not that thats a high dose of iver ,but with other meds on other posts..wowzer...maybe you are on to something...there is old thread on ln that says iver didnt faze proto. .but idk what you are up against...one lab said mine was toxo..keep us posted i just dont think many are as brave as to offer experience. .you are in uncharted water my friend ..do keep is posted

Since the Primaquine needs a prescription, I assume you are working with a doctor???

The only thing I could find on the three sites I'll list below is that you need to take the Ivermectin on an empty stomach and the Primaquine needs to be kept away from Grapefruit (both fruit and the juice).
