I was looking for information on Artemisinin and came across this article written by Dr. Axe.
Is Dr. Axe a reputable source of information?

I think Dr. Axe is awesome ;) I've saved many articles he's written.
Thanks for sharing this, Girlie!

In our home Dr. Axe is superman!
My acupuncturist determined that I am allergic to wormwood. I had no idea that wormwood is source of the key ingredient for the herbal drug artemisinin.
Glad I never took it!

Yes, PeteZa - wormwood is Artemisia. and Artemisinin is the active constituent of Artemisia.

Artemesia Annua is the plant that is used when referring to each of these things. It's known by many names, including: Artemesia, arteminisin (the extract), wormwood, sweet annie. There may be more, but those are the ones that I'm familiar with.
Dr. Axe has some really good articles and some that I think have misleading information, so as with all things, do your research!
