Nope never did abx. Only homeopath and herbs. And of course, ozone, PEMF, etc.

Pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs). In addition, when there is a known imbalance (when symptoms are present) or there is a known disease or condition, PEMF treatments, used either alone or along with other therapies, can often help cells rebalance dysfunction faster.

When I stared ozone it was 5 days a week which turned out to be wayyyyy to much. I just would get dizzy in the evening and sometimes just didn't feel that great. So, I figured it must be too much. I found my sweet spot to be 1-2x a week. I always did IV glutathione with it. I always felt really good right after the ozone though. Also start low. My doctor started me at 50cc. And also remember that even though the amount of cc's can go up, you don't have to go to the highest level to reap benefits. Some of the techs told me that I wouldn't feel the therapeutic effects if I didn't go higher in ozone. Both of my doctors told me that that wasn't true. Any amount of ozone has benefit. No two people are alike in what their bodies can tolerate. I think I finished out at like 70cc of UVBI and MAH. I could not handle 100cc. So I cam back down to 50cc and worked up to 70cc.

Huddie, looking forward to hearing all about your visit. You MD is not that much more than mine, I am making an appt this week, no idea how long the wait list is, but from what I understand she is around $800. Plus more with the different methods of treatment. I am happy to finally have someone close to my home that does treat Lyme, I have mostly self treated since the year after my actual diagnosis in 1990, when I did do 3 weeks IV Rocephin, but became symptomatic again just 3 months later. He said, too little, too late. So I also will be happy to be in the hands of someone knowledgeable, and other than the expense people seem to really like her.

The doctor sounds promising and I would hope he is workable. Nothing like a well-trained set of eyes evaluating these confusing infections called Lyme and Co's.

Hope you have a list of questions ready for him. I know my LLMD appreciated receiving a copy of my symptoms journal as well as the most recent bloodwork my PCP runs for me.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of tests were done on the tick?

My PCP let me down on that one. I wanted the tick tested for infections. She told me that LabCorp sends the tick to "some lab in CA" (I was thinking maybe IGeneX). Well, LabCorp identified the tick as a female nymph deer tick - that's it. blech.

I was hoping Stonybrook labs actually identified the specific infections the tick was carrying. There are labs that can do this.

For whatever it's worth, 70% of ticks tested in NJ carry Bartonella. Birds fly from NJ to NY all the time ;)

You are ahead of the game with the testing you had done, the records you maintain and the fact that you'll be seeing a promising LLMD.

You also came from a healthy place and it's clear your immune system is taking care of the bulk of things.

It will all work out.
