So I was just thinking about all that I didn't get to do this summer with my kids and hubby. Sometimes it makes me very sad. Like today they are at a tailgate/swimming party ( kid friendly) that I couldn't go to because there is NO SHADE. No way could I hang out in the sun like that for hours. I'm kinda sad for the summer to end because the kids go back to school,and they were GREAT company this summer. But on the other hand I'm ready for summer to end because it just reminds me of all the things that I wasn't up to doing. At least when the summer ends there isn't an expectancy to go here, there, and everywhere.

No. Ok, Except for the hot days. Its been above 85 to often lately. Why cant it be fall forever.

I thought I was so I can start classes again. Needed to get out of the house a bit to break up my days. But I should know better that there's no such thing as healthy balance when you're a student.

YES! LOL! I can easily put on another layer of clothing, but I've been down to the bare minimum of clothes all summer long thanks to Babesia sweats.

But I'm also happy that all those little reminders about what I couldn't do won't be staring me in the face daily either!

I don't want summer to end. I have been swimming every day in a lake and just don't want to ever stop! But this lake will freeze over come winter.......

I don't want it to end...our summer started late this year...

Also, every season change makes me sad...another reminder...that time is marching on while I'm still sick.

YES!!! I HATE summer. Seems like im constantly in pain or slow digestion. Im inside while everyone else is enjoying life. The humidity kills me. I miss the carnivals, cookouts, swimming, riding atv's. I dont see my family or what few friends I have left. My dad sent me pics of elk around our camp last night and I really felt down, because I cant be there. I cant wait until the temps get in the 60's again!

No! This has been the best summer I have had in a very long time.Winter is so long and I feel worse in winter. But I am with Astroman in that if it could stay fall forever I would love that. I love early fall with the cool evenings and warm days. It is just way to short.

I don't want it to end at all. While I agree it has been sad watching everyone have fun while I sat, and sat, and sat inside. I don't want it to end. I dread school starting and the kid schedule of getting everyone up so early and helping with homework when I have no energy. Had zero fun this summer. Tomorrow is my birthday and a year ago at this time we were in Rome. Had to cancel summer vacation this year and now summer is over and I haven't been to the ocean once. As long as we all heal there will be more summers, move vacations, barbecues and we will be able to be in the sun again - I missed that the most. darn you Doxcy!

At least we have each other to cheer up. It will get better.

It was 53 last night.........ahhhh...........and 62 and sunny now. PERFECT after this long heat wave.

You nordeasters will get this in a couple days. Enjoy.

The weather here today was almost fall like. I enjoyed it :)
