Hi,
I just want to weigh in. I read the book and he pretty much says EBV is behind everything, that and heavy metals. While I don't know for sure if he is the real deal, EBV wasn't on my radar AT ALL but it did made me think to ask my LLMD about it. Subsequently, he gave me the LDI for EBV and it cured my fatigue and swollen glands. So, while I am skeptical about his gift, etc, the book got me thinking, to sort of think outside the box and some good came out of it.
I guess I'm trying to say, I wouldn't to shut down things you don't understand or don't make sense. This disease doesn't make sense! You never know where or when you will get a piece of the puzzle solved. Also, people thought Shoemaker was insane as well as Jeffry Bland for saying (circa 1998) that our bacteria in our gut is the key to everything (he's the father of functional medicine).
Taking the approach to be openminded is important. I think more information is better. I always say to my kids, Knowledge is power. I go with my gut quite a bit, and that seems to help guide me, so intuition can serve you well as well. As far as I know, there isn't a book on why that works either. Cheers!
Very well said! Back in March is when I first came across his work. And I began some of the supplements that he recommended before my EBV test came back super high. My nutritionist actually sent his link to me when we just could not figure out what in the world was causing some of my symptoms.
