I received my bloodwork in my e-mail tonight and I'm very confused . My results read 1.11 H. That result was on a Lyme AB screen and at the bottom it says 18 KD (IGG) band reactive. The range is .90 =negative .90-1.09 =equivalent and > or = 1.10 is positive. My Lymes diease AB (IGG ) Blot result says negative but it shows reactive to 18 KD ( IGG ) band which was listed right under the 1.11 H Lymes AB Screen. It also shows reactive to 30 KD ( IGG ) band, 41 KD ( IGG ) BAND and 41 KD ( IGM ) BAND under the Lymes diease AB ( IGG ) Blot . Does this mean I have Lymes Diease?

You lucked out ..congratuladolences ...sorry welcome ...absolute is positive ..band 41 is flagella but not any good bugs have a tail..see lymenet for western blot explanation..how are you going to treat .? Do you have a llmd and how long have you been sick?..watch under our skin

I have no idea how to even treat. I'm going to go to my pcp today but I don't have a llmd dr. I've been sick for about 6 months now and I thought I was going crazy, but at least I have an answer on why I've felt so yucky!

The result you had on the Lyme AB was 1.11, which is above the cut off of 1.10, so you have Lyme.

You will want to find a well trained doctor, not one that has self proclaimed themselves as a LLMD or an ID Doc (Infectious Disease Doctor) or most GP's, as many docs believe Lyme is hard to catch and easy to treat, and don't believe in the reality of chronic Lyme.

Welcome to this wonderful little community and congratulations on getting the blood work done.
In that it can take awhile to find a good doctor that is competent (I don't have one actually-don't have the resources to go out of network) a good place to begin is with your nutrition. Begin to eat and drink in such a way that it will create an inhospitable environment for bacteria. Also, many have had good success with herbal treatment and while working on finding a Dr. you could at least begin to integrate some herbs. Japanese Knotweed and Cats Claw is what I began with following the Buhner protocol. I'd highly recommend Stephen Buhner's books - which you may be able to get at your library. Here is a good link to notes someone took at a conference he presented it, which got me off to a good start until I broke down and bought his books.
