All I can say is WOW. no begging for antibiotics!!!

my doc weighted the symptoms, tests and put me on Doxy, Rifampin and Tinidazole on the spot :)

he did order a retest of my babesia/bart (Igenex was Neg) said they often false neg, plus I had ordered FISH which wasn't his preferred way to test it.

Anyway, I'm thrilled I have doc. We will have to see how the abx treatment progresses.

I also got a script for Gluthatione IV so I can get it for less $$ and find some one to poke me or I learn (down the road). yay!

Did he say what Babesia/Bart tests he prefers?

Sounds like a good llmd! Great abx combo! And the glutathione is a great idea. :)
You can have co infections but have the tests come back negative does he ever diagnose based off of clinical symptoms?

Was told to start them one at a time. Does that mean a week on one before adding the next abx?

I was started base on clinical of co infections. The lyme igenex was pretty solid with positive PCR. He ordered coinfection tests from his preferred lab, since my igenex were neg.

Yes, I would wait a week...or even a few weeks before adding the next one.

Rifampin and Doxy are potent together. I got a wicked stiff neck and headache.

Here was my schedule:

Doxy 100 mg 1x am for 1 weeks
Doxy 100 mg 2x am/pm 2 weeks
(then I herxed like crazy, I was really toxic, thought I was dying, but this is when I joined the forum and learned about detoxing!)
then
Doxy 200mg am/ 100 pm for 1 week
Doxy 200mg am for six weeks
Then did the Rifampin for one week for bart, quit Doxy and then started Minocycline for a week pulse, then added the Tinodozole pulsed.
