Left sided nerve pain?

Is anyone affected primarily on one side of their body? I have severe nerve pain head to toe on the left side of my body (head, face, arm, sciatica nerve). I am trying to figure out if it is the Lyme, Bartonella or Epstein Barr that is causing it. Thanks

Years ago, when I was a newbie here, I was worried for a time because my pain was on both sides pretty equally, and most here experienced main left sided symptoms.

Since that time, we've had members with only left sided pain/symptoms, only right sided pain/symptoms, and pain/symptoms pretty equal on both sides. It's just the way these bacteria are, they affect each of us slightly different.

Severe nerve pain is normally from a combination of Neuro Lyme and Bartonella, but some have had severe nerve pain from just Neuro Lyme and from just Bartonella.

EBV can be brought under control with antivirals or by using Lysine.

luna - My nerve pain is mostly on my left side, too.

My upper back, arm, hand, cheek/jaw, all on the left side is where I get it. (all left side)


Now and then I get it on the right side. But it's minor.

My pain is only on the left side. Most of my other symptoms are as well: testicle pain, joint pain, tingling, "heavy" limbs--i have some arthritis, tingling, and heaviness on the right, but the pain is all on the left in the arm, leg, back, neck, thigh, etc.

My pain was initially more on the right side. It has since balanced ---

90% of my nerve pain is on my right side.

I've noticed that most of my deep pain (achilles, shin, ankle, hip, knee) is on the right, but most of the pain that seems like nerve pain is on left. I do get numbness on right though.

my new harsh pain is mostly from right side, foot/heel & achilles, right knee, both hips, right shoulder... worst pain is bottom of me to top. It's wacky. The nerve issues seem to be in my foot and shin on the right side. I have had major knee surgeries (articular cartilage replacement (ACI/AMZ), so I assumed my issues were from the surgery... but actually the shin nerve pain started before the last surgery and fixing my knee didn't correct the issue. It went away when my foot problem came on, but now my foot feels a little better and the shin pain returned... makes me go hmmmm.
