I really just don't understand what my LLMD is doing. I called the office again today for bloodwork results....still no word. The bloodwork was taken last Monday! Friday will be three weeks off of abx, WHICH WAS ONLY 30 DAYS FOR A CHRONIC INFECTION. This can't be right.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I plan on getting a second opinion but will have to wait two weeks due to financial reasons (my dog is now sick because I've been a terrible mommy lately).

I just want to cry, then pretend none of this is real.

They can't withhold your test results, can they? I would call and ask them to mail them to you.

I am so sorry you are going through this! A good cry always helps as does a good comedy. Hope the blood work comes back soon. Did you ask WHEN you could expect it, and, if it is possible if there was a mix-up. Also, some blood work takes a bit longer depending on what they are testing. If they are testing for infectious stuff...some cultures take longer.

If bloodwork was through labcorp you can log on their site and view results.

Yup, register on Labcorp portal and you should access the results, but only a day after it has been sent to your doctor's. Register anyway because it tells you the day and time they will upload your results online.

She repeated the Lyme test. It was through medical diagnostic labs. They don't automatically post results. At this point, I feel like it's just been a waste of money. What good did the 30 days do?

A Lyme test typically takes 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. Their not blowing you off they don't have the results back yet. Keep in mind if they did the blood draw on Monday depending on where that lab is they may not have received your sample until Wednesday or even Thursday if your blood draw was after 11:15-11:30 am.

My first lyme test results took lets say 48 hrs...second 3 weeks because there were other 30 test with it.
I think they are playing games.....would you like me to call them on your behalf and get that testing for you....ha ha ha.....

Lmbo!! Thank you for the offer....I'll keep you in mind for future use! hahaha You're so right! My first test results came back within four days (and that had all co-infection testing too). Just got the call this morning with results (posted in a different thread). Had them fax me a copy: the lab reported the results on 9/22!
