Which bacteria can cause sweating, beside Babesia?

Recently I developed abnormal sweating - it is not normal sweat, it is excessive and thick. It doesn't matter whether I am hot or cold, I sweat. It is strange, how can one sweat when being cold?
Also, sometimes I feel cold in one part of the body, and in the other parts hot. How stupid. I don't know what to wear.
And other people wear t-shirt and I must wear jacket. My thermoregulation is completely broken. I don't know what to do about it.

At the peak of my battle with Bartonella, I was sweating. I mean, gross and copious amounts. Even my lower legs and the tops of my feet were sweating. All I had to do was do the tiniest amount of exertion, like go out and get the mail and I would be damp and dripping. It was awful. It finally went away with treatment after a while, but it was a long haul. I do think it's your body getting rid of toxins, so even though it's gross, I'm sure it serves a purpose.

it is kinda gross, but I understand that is serves a purpose.
I also feel a lot of pain in ankles, knees, back and I think my body is fighting and it is inflammed because of it. I am detoxing to help it to fight.

Man, that is one of my biggest symptoms! The more I research, the more I think I have bart as well as mycoplasma. I think about exertion and I am a drenched mess. I have always been a big sweater, but not like this. It's amazing. I just keep drinking water to stay hydrated.

I was having massive night sweats, but those have stopped almost entirely... thank goodness.

It is weird as I will be in the FIR sauna sweating like crazy with the chills. So odd.

One of my symptoms too. It is mildly better the last day or two (noting I am pulsing babesia and am off artemesian in the moment). I NEVER ever sweated before. Took a lot in dance classes for me to sweat and needed to be super hot out. Weird. So..sounds like babesia and bart both.

I don't know what else I have, RMSF confirmed today. I sweat like I've been hit with a fire hose as soon as I start doing anything. Takes hardly any activity - just moving around. Also stinks. I may be nasty but at least I smell bad.

Yeah sweating is one of my last symptoms I've been trying to eliminate.

The strange thing is that I would never really sweat too much before I started treatment. I would use the sauna and sweat a bunch in there, but I never had a problem about being overly sweaty during the day.

Ever since I started treating I've just been sortof always a bit sweaty. Worse in warm weather. The day sweats haven't really gone away over the course of treatment like other symptoms and it's annoying. My night sweats have gone thankfully. I didn't realize that bart might be causing this.

my guess is that sweating is more about your immune system kicking in and less about the bacteria.
I would take it as a good thing

I was diagnosed with Bartonellosis. Before my diagnosis, perspiration was never a concern. Even during moments of exertion. Now, it is necessary for me to wash my bangs twice a day due to them being a drippy mess. My forehead is often a carpet of water bubbles.😅While washing the dishes yesterday, large bubbles of perspiration were rolling down my back and front. I have never worn deodorant. It was not necessary. I still don't even though my armpits occasionally smell like onions 👀 HAHAHAHA!
I am quite confident that this is not menopause.

I started getting the sweats as soon as lyme hit...

Although my female hormones also hit rock bottom...at the same time, I did try the bio-identical hormone replacement...and it didn't help with any of my symptoms...including the sweats.
The backs of my hands even sweat....it's horrible.
..and I get a pang of anxiety when the sweats hit me...really strange.

Even my female GP doesn't think peri-menopause/menopause isn't really 'adding up'.
What's weird is 5 months after I stopped the bio-identical trial...(which I only took for 4-6 weeks) - my estrogen was quite high. Out of the menopause range.

Recently tested...and it's almost 0 again.

My GP also says most of her female patients who are in menopause don't continue sweating as much as I have been 3 years later...in her experience, anyway.
