Red Root Alcohol-FREE Liquid Extract -Or- Alcohol-Based ?

I am trying ALL I can think of to get my body to have ANY kind of improvement after 6 weeks of the Stephen Buhner Protocol for Lyme doing nothing at all yet (I know it is early but still...) If it were not for the severity of my disabilities, losing ALL use of both legs now, severe muscle wasting of 2 1/2 inches lost on each of my calf muscles etc, etc. So as I understand it, IF I understand it at all, the best protocol for Bartonella which almost everyone I ever spoke to suggests I have is below. I listed all I have and do not have. Any suggestions before I place an order for Bart please chime in:

japanese knotweed (I have a LOT of this already)

cordyceps (Need to find what's best and buy)

sida acuta (Have just a couple weeks tincture-need to find a reliable GOOD source quick)

red root (subject of THIS thread-need now)

milk thistle seed (have a couple pounds powder enroute for Nov 9)

hawthorn (Have a couple bottles)

rhodiola/ashwagandha combo (NO idea what to get-need to find out and order now)

with

L arginine (have it on order for Nov 9

egcg (green tea extract)

quercetin (nned to find a good source and order now)

and finally optional:

isatis/houttunya/alchornea combo.

I use woodland essence tinctures also, which have alcohol.

Gosh I healed and only took 4 of the things you have listed, but took other stuff.

We all have to find our own formula.

Mike, I have been using "Muscle Tone" by Woodland Essence. This one I started maybe a month ago. I am so happy with the results. I have been unable to walk easily for some time. My left leg just will not hold me up. I am now using crutches and though without them my leg still gives out I can walk with them with no problem. My ability to walk for a lengthy period of time has increased. I feel like I have just gained my freedom!!!

It might be worth a try for you.

Also I use most of what you are using and have either gotten them from Sage Women Herbs or Woodland Essence. Most of them from SWH. I always use tinctures and they all have alcohol. I make most of my own now, but purchased them first to find out what works.

Thank you so MUCH for this! Honest, if I never got better or well in any way at all, I would only ask to be able to stand for a minute or two. To walk to my mailbox using my Trekking Poles like I had to use after my 6 spine fusions and Mastectomy. I also have a set of custome made Canadian Style crutches made by a world famous motocross racer in New Zealand who saw my story on Amazon and made them for himself when he crashed and could not STAND not walking. No way to really describe them well and I no of no way to post a picture here, but they are the most amazing thing. Somewhat heavy but you can rock & roll on these things once you dial them in! Neat looking too. But the huge part is I am able to keep my arms in them to support myself at rest but allows me to have BOTH hands free to grasp stuff (except the wife cuz she get too frisky) :<) I will look for a link at Amazon in case you may be interested. You can use the forearm to hold yourself up all day and rest the legs. I just thought of these from your post and will look in the garage. Heck, maybe even I could walk again with those?

Thank you Girlie. Am I mistaken that the "core" protocol for Bart is actually cordyceps and not cryptolepis? If so, I might be wasting a lot of money on CSA,sale or no sale darn it.

No just finished 6 weeks, not months but here is why I will NOT to the core for Lyme first. My TV reporter friend, Brooke Landau (Google her) is a National Spokeperson for Lyme sufferers. She told me it took 13 years and over $300K before she had ANY results and most was trying to treat only the Lyme. Months in hyperbaric chambers, months at a time with IV ABX treatments. She had 2 open heart surgeries, on and on and on. In the end, 2 of her doctors had their licenses taken away for all they did to help her. If you Google her you will see her on the Dr Phil Show and others. Striking girl 6 feet tall and you would never GUESS she was ever or still IS sick. But she is, will never believe any full cure is possible but now can live again but in severe pain every single day. She gave me a doctors info a 45 minute drive away who will help me if I step up to pay what I will NOT pay, but here is the deal. She never had ANY relief, was in her wheel chair 24/7 for over 2 years, BLIND, lots more I won't go into for privacy sake. But a new doctor began to treat her both Bart and Babs. Said let's go in and deal with those first and she just told him she didn't even care anymore, had violent rages totally unlike her. Like an outer body thing like I was having till my new antidepressant I began 3 weeks ago after talking to her an hour on the phone...

With NO improvement all these years, the very first WEEK she was out of the wheel chair, and her eyesight slowly began to return. This doctor told her it was his opinion that until you treat the co's, you can often never respond to Lyme and either way, HIS opinion was that the co's were often the most disabling of the problems, NOT the Lyme.
So I sure don't know but that call made me do a 180 on my plans. I will still be taking the big 3 of the Lymy protocol but tossing in the Barts herbs as well. Losing my legs has been SO traumatic along with screaming at wife I never even raised my voice to for almost 40 years.... This and endless constant sobbing when I hadn't cried since the 1960's in the dumbest War America EVER fought....No, I was NOT me and Lyme didn't do THAT to me from all I understand. So I may be wrong but I simply do not have time to mess up the ONLY good thing in my 67 year old life. The marriage to the sweetest girl I ever met. Plus she surfs. THAT is just not somethin that comes around twice in a lifetime! So I honestly want to go after any & all treatment I can find for Bartonella in hops of it allowing me to return, well, to being ME again. At least mentally if not physically?

Mike, I would appreciate the link from Amazon...the not being able to use the arms thing is the worst part of using crutches! I can either use my arms or my legs but not both, lol!

I hope the road you are on will help and I will be watching your progress. I am mainly treating Lyme with a bit of Bart thrown in. But it has not given me back my clear vision or my ability to walk. I am curious how this will go for you. Best of luck!

Tons of links once you know the brand name. I REALLY hope they don't stop making these since THIS is what made me not give up in the first place after all my surgeries crippled me. From here I came up with the idea of the much lighter Trekking Poles. Now however, I am unable to count on my legs holding me. Wish you lived nearby I could loan them to you for a month or so to try them and see if they work without any expense.

I checked it out and they look pretty useful. I couldn't find a place to purchase but did email them for more information on the price and how to get them. I see that they are based in Colorado. I just got back from there, dang it! Lol!

I hope that you will be able to use them soon. With the Muscle Tone from WE, I feel a bit stronger. It might be worth a try for you. I haven't noticed any of the muscle coming back but I am hoping that with the increased activity I will see some improvement soon!

Actually they are in New Zealand but turned over distribution to that new outfit for them. It began as just a family deal and began to take off and my reviews in a couple magazines got it a lot of attention here in the US. MY big push was trying to get the VA and other Government organizations to supply these for amputees etc coming home from out never ending Wars.... Looks like they are sadly fizzling out which REALLY is a surprise to me anyway. Lots of folks at Amazon found them troublesome if short in height. I was 6'2 and 240 pounds when I began using mine so had no such issues. (I THINK I am down to 6'0" since all the fusions and my weight dropped to 195 after the Mastectomy but back up to 212 now)

What I loved was they were built to last and more than anything, let me use my hands, stop to rest as long as needed by supporting my weight on both forearms etc. Anyway, I did have issues of sometimes catching my foot on one of the poles because I wasn't able to look downward given fusions in both my neck and my back. Basically I was SUPPOSED to still be in bed, had 3 drain tubes in my, 2 from my back and 1 from my chest, had a bone growth stimulator connected and wired into my spine as well as had a 28 pound upper body brace on. Oh, and it was 105 degrees and EVERY neighborhood around us was up in flames in the worst fires burning out of control in our history. I HAD to get out of that bed and stop watching life coverage on nonstop saying were were all gonna die Ah, good times...
