I wish I was more knowledgeable in this area.... My opinion - and that is just like a nose, everyone has one.... is that you don't have enough white blood cells to fight a battle.
I personally think you should avoid all illnesses until you talk to a doctor.
I hate to give doctor type information, because I am not schooled. All I have is years of experience and my Mom who is part doctor. 3 aunts that are nurses, a daughter-in-law (of sorts) that is a brain trauma specialist, I worked for an orthopedic surgeon and numerous other medical people that I hear talking all the time at any kind of family function.
I do not think that antibiotics should be taken when you are super low in the white blood count department. There are many drugs that can enhance your white blood count.
I really think you should call your llmd and discuss this with him/her. I wish I could tell you more, but I don't want to be wrong.
Just wash your hands a lot and stay very aware of germs and don't let yourself get near any while your count is low.
Please call your doctor and see what they say.
