Some Functional Medicine Chiros can save $ over some FMMD's / LLMD's for tests ect

Like many vets here, I have pretty much given up on over priced out of pocket LLMD's.

Collectively, we know more than they do...........unless you find an awesome one. (some backlash is expected from my comment).

They're great for newbies or Rx's.

Once you learn the drill and/or are broke and still not completely "fixed", alternatives look great.

Now although some chiros trying to be Drs are pretty good, some can sink you in their "programs". So shop around.

If you are on your own "healing plan", but might need a little gudance or tests that are not public direct, there are some FM chiros who dont charge an arm an a leg. I found one who gets this stuff is on the FM site above and charges $60 for 15 -20 min. Enough to look at a test ordered to his office. My LLMD for the same test is $300 an hour, $150 30 min.

I am speaking about non conventional testing that is out of pocket anyway. But- many regular non-llmd drs are refusing blood draws for kit testing- for fear of insurance not liking it.

Those who have insurance that covers almost everything (I read some here do) You are VERY LUCKY!!! As this IS THE PAST!

I had two FMMD's and ins dropped them this year. I cant afford them. So for simple things, a FM Chiro I found is more affordable. (Some are just as expensive, so shop around for your needs).

NOTE: the above is not recommended for newbies, as all the stuff on this site can be new and confusing - unless your FM (Functional Medicine) Dr or Chiro is Lyme Literate too, some are but to different levels.

I agree. My first doc was functional medicine and he was clueless,but his visits were paid for by my insurance.

Yes. They start at $150 (or did).
