@ PeteZa - if I wanted to go on Buhner - where and how do you suggest I start?

What you know as Cistus Creticus is known in the US as Cistus tea (Cistus incanus)- or Rock rose tea. It's effective partly because it's a biofilm buster, leaving the bacteria no biofilms to safely hide out in. It also has a lot of other wonderful qualities about it.

As for starting Buhner's, you can get an idea of what is being used (core protocols only) here: buhnerhealinglyme.com/ although if you wish to follow his protocol, I would highly recommend you buy his books (or the kindle version, which is cheaper usually) as they contain extended protocols, and suggestions for herbs to help ease specific symptoms, not to mention tons of information about the infections themselves.
