Thanks, CD!
From those that have used any type of immunotherapy, I see mixed results, which leads me to think that it - like so many other things with these infections - is only beneficial to some with these infections.
I have nothing but my own thoughts on this, but I have been watching since it started being used. It may be that only certain strains of Lyme/Bart & so on will have a big enough impact on the immune system to need this kind of therapy, or it may have more to do with the specific genetics of the person.
I have started using a form of immunotherapy - Lyme nosodes. It's a homeopathic immunotherapy, and I'm not sure exactly how it differs from LDI - or if it does differ from it. What I have noticed is that I feel more stable. Little things don't throw me for a loop.
I had agreed to go down to my daughter's house to puppy sit for her for two different weekend last month. The first trip was a disaster! One of my dogs was in increased pain (he has a lot of issues) and didn't get to sleep until 3 am the first night, and that set the tone for that weekend.

Once home, and knowing I had a little over a week to 'get it together' before doing it all again, and since I still wasn't feeling strong enough to start treatments up again, I choose to give the Lyme nosodes a try.
I was on them for 4 days before the next trip, and was careful to stay on them regularly. I made it through that weekend pretty well, and am still on them and up on full doses now. I slept okay down there, was able to go out and visit that weekend with our other kids and not feel like I was seriously setting myself back 5 or 6 steps. it has also seemed to help with my adrenal health as well.
