july - I like the idea of making an all natural one - and scenting it with essential oils.
But, I'm wondering how greasy it would be - since coconut oil almost liquefies when it gets warm (and the pits are a pretty warm place) - would it show grease marks...?
or maybe the the arrowroot/cornstarch would prevent that.
i wonder how difficult it would be to fill up an empty deodorant container....
Definitely thinking about this. I should probably buy some cheaper coconut oil...and not use the stuff I eat. lol
I didn't get any ads on the right side for commercial deodorants. I got diet ads...
PeteZa - the cotton ball with alcohol would only work at home...not when I'm out in public...which is where I want it.
At home, sometimes I don't wear any.
The article suggests starting with a pea sized amount. When it warms, I would think that small amount would just soak in.
She did say you can add more corn starch if it's too soft. I am not sold on the oils, though, unless they are going to lend to the deodorizing effect. The coconut oil is already suspect for clothing stains. Wonder if the coconut oil itself would be pleasant enough to ....smell....
Are there glycerin based scents?
