Dumb Tincture Question

Good news then since I guzzle this stuff faster than an alcoholic after their first AA meeting....Sure wish they or Sage offered CSA Tintures but only see them from Montana (not a fan) or Woodland, or the guy I bought my Sida Acuta from on eBay (or Etsie that EVERONE said they would NEVER buy from. All I know is his Sida seemed exactly as good as anyone else but who knows? I know he sure has a great "story" and has been an herbalist for over 40 years and has to treat his own product reliably from Woodland and found their tinctures too weak and of poor quality so he joined up with from Africa from an herbal pharm company that has a laboratory described as: "Now I deal directly with the owner
who is a PhD in Natural Science and has other various degrees. The man is
truly inspiring" To paraphrase him anyway.

So I don't know if I should use him again for great pricing and alway there for me against everyone who fears being ripped off (and NOBODY has more fear of that than ME!) or deal with all the hoops we sometimes have to jump through to get product when we NEED it in this field.

I learn so much on here and it's still morning.

A rabbit tattoo goes in the middle of their inside ear flap or "flop" in some breeds, lol. It's like a pair of plyers, spring loaded with 'trays on either side that you put tiny rubber or metal stamps containing 'pins' forming a letter or number to create an ID all their's. It only hurts for a second. I promise.

this site says -- "Tinctures have a very long shelf life - years! After 10 years, I might get some new tinctures as some of the constituents may have started to degrade at that point."

I have both tinctures and essential oils that are kept in a cupboard where it is a controlled temperature and they have both lasted the 10 year mark. I replace them after that...... even though I sometimes think they are probably still good...... :(

PeteZa-Thanks and yes I have seen that. A worry for me however is vey high temperatures. The past 7 months the temps outside were 92-112 and inside the house around 88-94 degrees. I will NOT waste money using the AC but wife gets home and turns it on that very minute Funny how she will now endlessly ask me how I like MY hot flashes that I USED to ridicule her about. Broads...(oh wait, I think I'm the only dude here?) As they say, payback is a *****. Oh wait AGAIN! Crap, nowhere to run is there?

You aren't the only dude - there are a bunch. We once had a roll call on how we came up with our forum names and whether we were male/female.

I'm a female. Huddie is what we call our dog, Hudson.

Envious you live somewhere warm. Better for healing in my opinion. We are on the east coast and there is snow on the ground and the fireplace is on.

Well here it is to be another festival like frigid holiday weather with Thanksgiving at 80 degrees ON THE BEACH with everyone properly bundled up with their hip high UGG Boots and 100% wool Pendleton Beach Boy shirts to ward off this cold spell...Oh and we all have proper wool watch caps just like OJ Simpson too. Yep, we are a hearty bunch alright.

We live in Oceanside California. I am at the back gate of USMC Base Camp Pendleton that is 20 degrees warmer than the beach. And most TV stations won't even report the Oceanside Temperature this City reports since they place the thermometer 2 feet above the water at the Oceanside Pier for the Chamber Of Commerce ratings...everyone's a scammer. Even more envious! Love that area. My eldest brother lives in Pasadena and my husband has business every now and then in San Diego. So last March we spent two weeks driving the PCH. It was pure heaven. Last vacation since Lyme :(

Well the bright side is it sounds like you packed a lot of living into the days when you were mobile. Traveling is the best life. My husband raced motorcycles for a while. His last trip was Baja. His best buddy just lost his wife and now wants the two of them to do the Mongul Rally. I said no way. Not happening.

Saturday night kefir is sounding pretty good right about now. Enjoy it. Does Trish join you in your nightcaps or does she go pour herself a giant glass of wine?

I am heading to Pismo Beach soon and I will be the one in the shorts and t-shirt because I am coming from 35 degrees to the beach and those on the beach think 50 is cold. I think it is hot!!!

I call the hotel ahead of us and tell them to open the doors and let the ocean breeze in or else we have to turn on the air conditioner when we get there.

But the best part is the altitude!! coming from 4,000 feet to sea level is the best. I can ride my bike all day long and for miles and miles without any effort. I love sea level. I feel like a teen.

Just to clarify, tinctures do not last 10 years. A well made tincture can last up to 3 years, but only if it's kept away from heat and light, and stored in an amber or blue colored bottle.
