Head and Neck Scan

Went to my doctors this morning as last three days really struggled to hear and have only just gone back to work full time which is exhausting but if can't hear it will make it impossible. Before I book audiology test I wanted doc to look in ears.

She said they are really inflamed and 'full of debris' again, sorry TMI :( so booked me in for dry suctioning as can't get this skin condition in ears wet. She doesn't think any permanent damage which I am delighted about but hearing loss due to ears clogged up with whatever ???

Also booked me in for another set of blood tests and head and neck scan specifically for lumps and bumps in head and neck area tomorrow morning at 10am, mainly due to persistent swollen lymph nodes by my right ear.

I can't wait to receive my bart herbs that I ordered at the weekend plus the ones specifically recommended by Buhner for ears.

Wonder what the scan will reveal ?!?!

Thanks Girlie and yes it is such good news that Dr does think any permanent damage.

Am thinking imaging will come back as showing nothing as its down to lyme/bart, would the bacteria cyst form show up as 'something' on imaging I am wondering ???

Will be glad to get it over and done with and then get the results.

The scan will likely only show density of the "lumps and bumps", which will narrow down the material causing them. Unless they inject a contrasting dye that can give more specific results.

Hope it's just trapped fluid that can be massaged out!

Expanding on what Girlie said..The cysts that the bacteria surround themselves with are microscopic in size and require high powered magnification to see.
