This is month 11 of a Lyme + co-infection protocol and how I have been working it is, if something is stuck, look at the protocol and the symptoms and figure out what I haven't targeted yet and see if there is a symptom match, then work with that a bit and switch up the protocol. I'd say I am 85-90% there, my weight is up, my energy is up, and a few stuff that hasn't budged, but gotten a bit wonkier. In addition to considering other co-infections, I am going back to the Western Medicine docs and checking in. Last week, a vascular surgeon who spotted something odd on my Feb CT and he'll take a closer look with a scan next week. Today I saw a gastroenterologist.
I LOVE this Dr.!
One: he listened to me and the lyme + co-infection scenario and he didn't poo poo it.
Two: he asked great questions, and listened to my questions and answered them thoroughly.
Three: when he looked at my blood work, and commented on the high liver enzymes I explained what I thought they were from. That I'd come across in my reading that high liver enzymes could be associated with a herx reaction and it could be related to bacterial die off, and, that it could be associated with bartonella, and now that I had been treating that, that they would come down. He looked at the newer blood work and his comment was, well, it looks like the bacterial infection is getting under control. YEAH! He didn't tell me I was a dough dough head for problem solving for lyme. He accepted my perception of what is going on in my body.
Anyways - my spouse pointed out I have been complaining of nausea for over 15 years, on and off, the gut stuff has just gotten wonkier.
I also asked if it could be related to anxiety and he said absolutely.
I also asked, that now that I have the anxiety under control and I've processed the PTSD, could it be that my body is stuck on an old set of programming, and needed resetting. He said absolutely to this as well. I asked how to re-set it, and he said with medication.
So... I have on the 21st a procedure to scope my throat out and my tummy out.
A GREAT DR.!
Soooo happy!!
