T1 or T2 dominance?

Bluelyme made a comment on T1/T2 in another thread and it got me thinking. I think I read acute Lyme can make you initially T2 dominant but when it goes chronic it can go T1 dominant. First of all is this true and what about the co-infections?

Is there a way to test whether you're T1 or T2 dominant? It would be good to know because there are all sorts of dietary, supplements, herbs etc. you should be taking (and also avoiding) depending on where you land.

If you have Buhner's 2nd edition Healing Lyme, he discusses these at length on pages 151-155.
I did see that one of his first questions in the outline box is if you've had your tonsils out. He goes out to say that that's where 50% of T cells are made. The other half in the Thymus.

From what I'm reading, the only way he says you can tell is by taking astragalus and if you feel worse, you are finding out that you are in later stages of long term semi-dominant autoimmune like process in chronic Lyme and simply a later stage of a T2 dominant Lyme infection.

But then he adds it doesn't do that for everyone.

TH1/TH2 is very interesting and it seems research has gone nowhere in the last 8 years.

It is brought up on occasionally on the more used (non-lyme) autoimmune forums, only here about 2X a year though.

There was though at some point that this held the answer to autoimmune issues/disease.

Most have never heard of it.

Wish someone would get the ball rolling and figure this stuff out instead of guessing.

Thanks rikky ,interesting topic ,Buhners method of ramping up immune sx and seeing could be why some geel so crappy on cats claw or reishi ..astragalus is a good test .

the only other thing was the silly Marshall protocal where people stayed away from sunlight ,took benicar and low dose abx for a long time ..maybe the benicar did do something but he had a test on there too i think ? I will have to look again

i am going to try desensitization with my own blood pathogens and see if it does what ldi claims to do. I have tried auto immune injections where the separate wbc and doctorit up and reinject for way to much money ...did not notice a marked improvement

the iv curcumin was the most noticable and the bvt

Based on symptoms, my doctor categorizes you. I am TH2 according to him.
