I am so sorry. The worry of a child being sick is so awful.

She needs to be tested for lyme disease, if that is what you suspect. You can order the kit from Igenex and have a lab do the draw.

While you are waiting, she needs to get plenty of sleep, lots of water, clean up her diet and detox.

Re-read the first post that we ask newcomers to read. It has everything you will need in it. Advice on how to find doctors, how to detox, what to eat, etc.

I am so very sorry and I know this is horribly worrisome for a Mom, but it will get better with treatment.

The list of things you are taking for your lyme do not look very sufficient to me. Maybe you left some things out.

i also ordered dr cowden's protocol for lyme on amazon. i dont have the money to even test myself. Also doctors immediately shoot me down and say i'm projecting or she is. Is difficult

So sorry you are going through this. We knew nothing of Lyme when my dd9 became ill. It was horrible and took nearly a year to find out what was wrong only bc I kept searching. She was hospitalized twice and misdiagnosed with both lupus and then somatoform disorder, which is psychological. We are 16 months into our journey and finally over the summer she was diagnosed with Lyme disease and PANDAS bc I searched out an LL M.D., changed pediatricians and requested specific tests (and unfortunately had to pay out-of-pocket for everything). The treatment was still wishy-washy though because her new pediatrician was open-minded but did not have any experience with these diagnoses. We now know that she has Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, erlichia/Anaplasma, mycoplasma, EBV, and MARCoNS, and PANDAS/PANS for sure bc of all the testing we have done is positive! I wish I could be of more help but I can tell you that the name of the agency that helps people with money is called Lymelight. (we don't use it but I am planning to do a fundraiser to raise funds to donate to them). She is on a new regimen now so it's too early to tell if it's working but her specialist has had us order (among other things): Borrelogen, Quintessence, BLT, and ToxEase. Some you can order yourself but others have to be ordered by a healthcare professional. I figure you could at least research these products to see if you think they might be beneficial. They are around $80/bottle. I know everyone is different and you can't base your daughters treatment off of somebody else's but I hope that this information can at least be helpful. Best wishes!

kw661 I know a couple of people that cannot afford the $210 testing and what I advise is that they take this test. Also I advise that they keep the test for future comparison.
