Hi All.

I am just starting to treat a newly diagnosed case of lyme's. I decided I will go with the Buhner protocol & have been reading various threads & recommendations on this forum.

I just ordered 3 herbs for the basic protocol--cat's claw, Japanese knotweed, & andrographis.

I am confused, tho, as to what the latest book is that he has written to treat lyme & am concerned I ordered the wrong book. This is the one I ordered: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0970869630/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Is that one correct? Can someone post a link to the correct one if I ordered the wrong one? Thanks! I don't know why it's so confusing to me!

That's the original book, which lots of people have had success with.

There is a more recent book however, in which he has changed up some things.

The old book is from about 10 years ago, and the new one is a year or two old.

The new one is "2nd Edition".

I agree with Mustard Seed. It's still a good book - although Amazon may let you return it and get the 2nd edition, as it has his updated protocol with an extended protocol to help you address your symptoms as well.

Lots of things that normally wouldn't confuse us suddenly do when we have Lyme. We "lovingly" call it Lyme brain.

For those who have read the first, is there useful information not in the second? In other words if I have the second is there any reason to add it to my herbal library?

I liked the first book, because I so needed it first and the second was not completed yet.

Having read the second, I don't think it is necessary to read the first. If you need the first edition's information, well, a lot of that is the website under his name and run by someone else.
