Yeah well i've had all of those. Last time i was tested when my fatigue was at its worst i had active coxsackie and HSV2. HHV6 and EBV were only IGG positive and not active. What can be done for this? I was taking valtrex months ago when i first started treatment. maybe i'll give my LLMD a call. But theres a chance this could be just a herx right? because sometimes I'll have this fatigue that last just a few days and leaves.
Have you checked to see if you're running a low grade fever during those times?
I always equate those feelings, when I stop and think about
them, as flu-like achy-ness. 3/4 of the time if I go take my temperature, sure enough it's 99. something trying to push me over the 100 degree mark. Most of the time it doesn't go that far, but sometimes it does and then it's time for me to hit the bed and baby myself for a day or two.
This has been a sure sign for me that my immune system has kicked in for the fight.
A nurse told me if it goes over 100, the immune system is loosing ground, but I don't know if that's a very scientific point of view. Though I firmly believe the rest of it.
At any rate, rest might be what's called for at those times, regardless of what's going on.
