Just got my chronic tonic. Is there any reason not to take it with my antibiotics?

Rifampin and doxy.

I was told it was safe to use along side of abx by a Master Herbalist - but I would encourage you to double check the herbs and the abx to look for safety and effectiveness when consumed together.

And remember to start off slow and detox as well! smilewinkgrin

What's the 'full' dose? For example, if it says one tablespoon, start with one teaspoon or less.

It is put out by misty meadows and has Japanese knotweed, Cat's claw, eleuthero,red root, sweet Annie, teasel root, wild sarsaparilla, St. John wort, echinacea root, neem leaf , oregano and thyme

Now, Traveler makes her own Chronic Tonic...and I think it is a bit different than that one.

I used the same herbs, but my Master Herbalist had me made a tea to use, not the tonic as sold by Misty Meadows.

I just received 2 bottles, a months supply. Has it helped anyone with vertigo? If so, how long did it take? I realize it probably depends how long its been in your system. Does it cross the BBB effectively?

Recommended dosage is 1tspn at a time with food. I'm at 2 drops every other day lol

The full Lyme prote come with 6oz of dry herbs the same as what's in the tonic with the addition of astragalus to make a drink. I haven't tried it yet not till I build up some tolerance.

Something to be aware of is that Buhner says that some people can take Astragalus during chronic Lyme, but it will likely make the majority of chronic Lyme patients herx seriously - which is not what we want, so be careful if introducing astragalus to your routines.

Buhner suggests that we be healed from chronic Lyme for 6 months before introducing astragalus, which is what I did.
