I believe it can reduce your immune function
My husband is required to get flu shots for his employment...and both years, he got cold/flu like symptoms after..
Not sure if it was from the vaccine directly...or his immune system was suffering and he caught a virus.
So, you got the flew shot a few weeks ago?
I think theoretically the flu shots are intended to enhance our immune system by introducing it to a strain it is unfamiliar with and forcing it to create antibodies for the possibility of a full on exposure happening, the body will recognize it and be forearmed.
The problem is, which is why I no longer accept the shots, my immune system is already compromised from these tick diseases, and DO get horribly sick from the shots.
So, there is that risk, but once again it depends on where the person's immune system is at.Yes, I think eventually it's supposed to increase our immunity...but initially I think it reduces it...as something foreign is added to our body...our immune system is already taxed.
Some LLMD's recommend we don't get them....
I have never had one...and don't plan on getting one...maybe when I'm really old...I may change my mind.
