Got my new protocol and it's going to be hard.

Mino, plaq, dapsone, nystatin every day. Omnicef MWSat, Rifampin 1 day. Plus lots of supps, folinic acid, liver support, GSE. Not sure if I am to continue herbs with this. Bloodwork every 2 wks.

I know the 1 day Rifampin seems strange. I probably won't start for about 2 weeks. I am doing an 11 day parasite protocol first. It involves biltricide, ivermectin, alinia.

600 mg.

Yes they said start one abx every 3 days (if tolerating). I will probably wait a week. I know I will be ok with the mino, plaq. Never tried the other 3 so who knows.

Yes, it should be.

I get two or three days in...and then I'm like "I need a day off"
(more so now that I am taking it once daily - full dose)

300 twice didn't hit me as hard.

the 600 seems to have gotten deeper.

I have had twitching with lyme/bart...but it had pretty much subsided.
A few weeks after changing my rifampin to 600 once daily, I got twitching in my left foot - the toes.
I had foot pain before - but no twitching there.

That lasted - maybe a week and then after it subsided, I got twitching in the toes of my right foot.
That is gone now.

This is after more than a year of 300 mg twice daily...and shortly after switching to 600 mg once daily.

Wow, that's crazy the difference in 2x a day vs. 1. I'm curious to see if I will notice anything from 1 day. The dapsone makes me the most nervous but I will just be extra diligent in taking the preventative meds.

*Please read what ChickenArise says in first paragraph about contraindications with Biltricide and Rifampin. (I hope that I am reading it correctly?? That there is a contradiction between the two meds????) If I am not reading this correctly, my apologies.

I personally don't know about contraindications with parasite meds and antibiotics. I am currently only on Dr. Klinghardt parasite protocol. I just don't want you to have a bad reaction.

Little Bear - Thanks! But yes, not doing the cleanse at same time. How are you doing on the Klinghardt protocol? It is much more in depth than what I will do. I hope I am not under-treating. I plan to do an herbal parasite cleanse again this summer. I did humaworm last summer and felt pretty good.
