Tear Ducts, Night Dry Eyes

At night, my tear ducts dry up to the point that it is very uncomfortable to keep my eye lids closed, which wakes me up. I have to get up several times a night to drink water just so I can go back to sleep. Is anybody else having this problem? Has anyone come up with a remedy?

I've had to use eye drops a lot when I have Bartonella - it just loves the eyes.

I've had to be careful to not use any eye drops that have boric acid as the preservative, as it just stings my eyes really, really bad - I'd rather not use them and suffer through! But, there are some good brands - just ask the pharmacist if you need help in finding one without boric acid.

And, I still need to have water by my bedside at night, or I end up getting up to get a drink of water because my throat gets so darned dry at night. It does mean that I likely will have to get up to go to the bathroom an extra time at night - but at least I can sleep in the meantime!

For me, a lot of the need for water at night is because it's winter, and I struggle to get enough water down me during the day when it's cold.

Doxy and Fluconazole helped my eyes and although the boric acid eye drops did sting and irritate my eye at first I think it helped me in the end when I was close and needed something to get over the last hump.
I also found colloidal silver drops would help, just dont use ionic silver in the eyes as it can cause damage.

Doxy only helped me for a month after I stopped taking. Then I was back at square 1. Fluconazole is interesting, wonder if it kills Candida?

That is a treatment for Candida...
