I have an appointment next Tuesday with my local ND. It was to touch base and start Biaxin. But, I saw my LLMD a week ago and am waiting on that protocol, will move forward with it in 3 weeks. So should I keep my appointment with my ND? I emailed him and asked but never heard back. I suppose I could move on with his protocol while I wait but I don't think his approach is aggressive enough for me. I'm torn.

If you don't believe the ND will be able to be of help, then cancel that appt. You can always reschedule it at a later date.

If you feel more confident with your LLMD, then cancel the ND appt....unless he/she is offering you supportive measures that the LLMD doesn't?

He's given me trazodone for sleep. I emailed him sunday with notes from my LLMD appointment because he said he would collaborate with the clinic. Usually he responds to my emails in less than 24 hours. I had wanted to find out if I could get magnesium IVs for migraines. I had hoped he would want to learn from the more experienced LLMDs... I think I will just cancel. There's not really a point to see him at the moment. The LLMD did say that I wouldn't have to fly down as often if my ND was willing to write her perscriptions for me and do labs. He may not want to do that though if he doesn't agree with her protocol.
