I started with a sore throat, swollen glands and ear ache. All left side. I haven't felt anything like this in ages.

Anyone else ever have this going on and was it Lyme related?

Maybe an immune response?

Next question, am I a hypocrondiac? 😉

Mine was lyme. Gosh everything for the entire year was lyme. I would wait to see if I got a cold, flu and nothing......

I did Herbal Pharm Soothing Throat spray for my throat or Throat Coat tea.

For the glands I did Red Root and massage of the lymph nodes..... and amazingly that cured the ears that were plugged and achy.

Hope you find what helps you. It is miserable, I remember.

Now hubby is going through the weird inopportune symptoms and thinking he is sick.... it's lyme.

But just pay attention, because it is that time of year for a virus to come around.

I get that about every 2 weeks lately. The swollen glands swell and tenderize (not in a good way), that extended area from the base of my neck across the top to my shoulders.

I only get the ear ache in windy weather.

I was wanting to blame EBV, because I was trying to run a low grade fever with it. Now I don't know what to think......JK herx? My imagination? It usually goes away in 2 or 3 days and comes back a couple weeks later.

Just checked temp. 98.3. I did half doses today. Not that that means anything but just thought I'd throw that info out there 🐺

One of the first things I read about lyme disease was that I would have good and bad days. It had nothing to do with meds or herxing, it was just the nature of the disease.

And, it was true to form. But with treatment the good days began to outweigh the bad ones.

Last night, I gargled with thieves mouthwash, wicked stiff. This morning, all ear and throat symptoms are gone. Don't know if that had anything to do with it but just thought I'd throw that out there 😁

I think we all feel like a bit of a hypochondriac, at least until this becomes "old news" for us!

Hang in there!! I'm so glad the theives oil worked so well for you! You can also do lymph massages, take red root, and increase the amount of general detoxing you are doing to help keep this from happening so much.

Thanks Traveler, this is my first sore throat and ear ache in ages.

There is a weird virus going around here with the exact symptoms, that's why I was hoping I was sick.. Well that sick ya know 😉

Yes, I do know!! With many of the viruses that go around, it will be hard to know which is affecting you for sure - until a bit of time passes. I never assume it's NOT herxing. LOL! Because even if it's a virus going around (I got one a few weeks ago), the extra detoxing I do when I'm herxing still helps.

It just dawned on me that this was all contained on only one side of your body - that is a clue that it's likely the infections/herxing. Viruses don't *usually* only affect one side, but yet it's not at all uncommon with Lyme and company.
