Tick Bite Flares

I have posted this before in the past, but now that there are some new folks I was just wondering if anyone else has the site of the tick bite flare up and get raised and itchy again? It's not a bullseye rash, but a smaller "lump," about the size of a dime that raises up and gets red and itchy. Only lasts for about an hour or two. The only person I know of who has had this happen is the moderator Achievinggrace who no longer posts here.
Other than some muscle twitches and minor aches/pains, this is my only symptom but it has not gotten better at all!
I am wondering if it is an immune response to what used to be there. Not sure.

I don't have a known tick bite area, so I can't help with that.

But, I was wondering what your LLMD says about it?

My LLMD thinks it is an immune response not necessarily indicative of bacteria as even if all spirochetes were eradicated it would still happen.

From what I have read people have this sort of reaction with other insect bites as well. One person said that poison ivy makes ALL their previous tick bites flare. Strange. Maybe histamine related as well.

Fronton, I had this happen a few nights ago, Im just beginning my 6 month of treatment. It appeared on my back and was red , but flat not raised and it has been itchy in that spot recently. Its about 2 inches by 3 in in area. It went away next day.
I only know where I found two ticks on me and that site that got red was not one of them. Also I never recall having a rash before. Strange.
I just want to get better. This is weird stuff all the time. Someday I hope they find a cure for all of us.
I dont see my llmd for 3 weeks but I will ask him about it.
