I’m pretty sure it’s the IV abx that you need to be on the ursodiol.
Dr J has his IV patients take the Ursodiol but not his oral abx patients.
However, Cipro is a fluoroquinolone and they have some risks - one being tendon rupture and another one being nervous system issues - which may be permanent.
There used to be a website with pages and pages of people who were “floxed”
and sometimes the damage is forever.
However - Cipro is a very effective antibiotic against Bartonella. (And I think Levaquin as well)
Dr J offered it to me - but I declined and he substituted Rifabutin
There has been at least one person on this forum who was floxed.
