HI there all, first time poster and not sure if I'm getting this right.

'Am wondering if anyone has come to the conclusion that many of us with lyme/ lupus diagnosis, that the lyme portion may have come down a hereditary line, and thus resulting in autoimmune diseases in the next generation ?
Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated. idea

I don't think that's the way it works. I have seen no evidence that it marks genetic dna. Whole families will have it, but either because they were all infected from ticks or other vectors, or transferred sexually, in the uterus or through breast milk.

While it is possible to have Lyme and Lupus, it's also possible that the Lyme and Co. will show itself in similar symptoms as Lupus. And Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, M.S., ALS, Alzheimer D., and more.

No, I have not seen/read anything saying that it can be passed on genetically....

It is an infectious disease. People with weaker immune systems may be more susceptible...and immunity may be somewhat inherited...but exposure to the bacteria would have to happen.

This can happen in the womb...so babies from mom's with lyme can have it.

Genetics, for example HLA types, play a role for sure as do epigenetics but I'm not quite sure what your question is
