Has anyone ever read the Ray Bradbury short story, All Summer in a Day? It's about life on the planet Venus where the Sun is only visible for one hour every seven years. A little girl from Earth moves to Venus and her jealous schoolmates lock her in the closet when the sun comes out and she misses it.
On Sunday, I was a happy citizen of Venus. I had the most amazing day ever. I felt normal. Better than normal. I had energy, zero brain fog, no pain, nothing. It was like, for one perfect day Lyme didn't exist. It was, to say the least, bizarre and I took it easy regardless. I had brunch, we went furniture shopping, went to the bookstore, sat by the pool and talked to our neighbors and then played video games in the evening. Video games make me motion sick now. I used to be able to play for hours. It was weird and wonderful and I was so happy. It was like the clouds parted for one glorious hour on Venus and I got to see the sun.
But now it's back to the grind. Yesterday I was exhausted falling on my feet. The dizziness and brain fog returned. Today more of the same. Just achy and tired. I don't know what happened on Saturday, it was like a miracle. I felt like I did 3 years ago before I started feeling ill. I even wanted to vacuum! LOL
I am, by no means, making good progress on my Lyme killing herbs. I'm still on just a 1/2 drop of A-bab and have started Valtrex for Epstein Barr. Otherwise, I still have bartonella to contend with. No abx.
Weird, right? What happened? Anyone else have a day like that? I loved it. I want more.
