What symptoms can I expect to fade away? I will be adding in Byron white formulas in a week for EBV and CMV too. I know it can take a while. How will I know if my meds are working or if it's the right combo? My daily pressure headaches have eased with babesia treatment as has my POTS symptoms. So what symptoms are primarily Bart and what would remain with Lyme?

That would be really, really tough for anyone to answer those questions. These infections not only have symptoms that lap over from one infection to the next, but we also all have different experiences.

For example, for me, I had to treat Lyme and Bart at the same time in order to get them under control, and that took care of most of my nerve pains and a lot of other issues as well.

What would be best is for you to use a symptom journal of some type and keep track of how your symptoms are doing - that way you will be able to look over that and see what symptoms are beginning to fade away and which ones are being more stubborn.

I was afraid of that answer!! Lol!! Well I guess I will see. I'm trying to give myself a few weeks to a month between my symptom analysis because when I try to do it daily I get depressed and don't see any changes. I have a big list from before I started treating Bart so I will check it periodically.

I'm finding it really difficult to separate the infections out.

Is it stubborn Bart?...or is it Babesia...?

Hey there, DS is treating both of those right now so I can give a bit of input but as others mentioned, it's so variable depending on the symptoms.

One thing DS and I decided was to discuss the week's symptoms only on Sunday for 2 minutes each week. I run through his main symptoms, he says better, same etc. Then I ask if there are any new ones and that's it. Eases the stress/frustration for him as he likes to live as though he doesn't have Lyme as much as possible. Maybe that would work for you?

So symptoms - his myco numbers had finally come down and so he had noticed fewer daily fevers (he cycles up and down) and he was using his inhaler less and his heart/dizziness was better. Then he got reinfected and breathing got worse and fevers came back. Also new joints started hurting - that could be Lyme, who knows. He is treating bart, myco and Lyme right now.

I hope you feel/see some progress over the next few months. Myco is a bear to get rid of! Also it's going around out here in the East anyway. DD just had pneumonia and dr said Myco was going around (although she was exposed through DS or had strep pneum).

Chuck I've been keeping a daily journal of symptoms and how i feel overall daily for 2 1/2 years so I don't want to hear any complaining from you ;o)

You need to get yourself in a mentally prepared state to look at this like a war. It's you versus the bugs and you need to have the strength and resolve to outlast them. The mental aspect of this is very important. Know that every time you take an antibiotic, herb, etc. you are doing something to disrupt and kill the pathogens that have invaded your body. Remember they are invaders they don't belong there and you need to do whatever you can to kick them out.

Some people don't see improvements for months others weeks others days everyone is different. There is no shortcuts with this disease expect a long, drawn out protracted battle to get your life back. If you take that no holds barred goals based attitude then every step gets you closer and maybe you can have some patience.

i put a lot of trust in kinesiology....yep progress is measured in weeks months ...

I'm not impatient. I am actually just curious what symptoms are generally assigned to bart and myco. So I can weed through my different infections. I still don't have the official Lyme diagnosis because the LLMD wanted to address what we did know before treating potential Lyme. I suppose the feet hurting can be a solid bart symptom. As well as the bladder issues.

Chick - if you're on meds for Bart and then Babs...the lyme may be taken care of with those meds...except maybe needing to address biofilms and cysts.

I am pretty sure I had myco because I had a cough that was annoying. I did cordyceps and it took away the cough.

Anyway, it seemed like that was the winner to me.

Bartonella made me feel like I was stepping on glass. I cannot tell you how many times I checked my feet for splinters or glass. Houttuynia seems to have taken that away.
