I try to take Activated Charcoal in the evening away from meds and food. Sometimes I just don't make it. If I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom that's when I take it.
I haven't used chlorella, instead, I use Spirulina. I haven't found any information that you need to take it away from meds and food. It's like a cousin of chlorella but has different benefits but it does bind to heavy metals which is a problem for me. I use this because I sometimes sleep till 11 or noon and then it's so hard to get all my supplements and meds in for the day.
