4th week of iv

Well here goes my fourth week of iv with rocephin.pulsing with tindemax Nothing going on so far. Still twtiching and burning and weak. I remember years ago that the rocephin kinda helped with my symptoms.
Mentally, beatup. I'm just tired of it......

My LLMD told me to expect my worse herx on the 4th week of IV Rocephin. It never happened for me... I hope you do OK as well.

May I ask how long you plan to be on IV?

Not sure, was hoping for 6 weeks. Phone consult with llmd I was advised my symptoms are more of bartonella. roceph and tindemax I hear wont do a thing for this. Geez. Ordered herbs which are suggested for this and can't wait to get them..

Bart's a tough one. TindaMax will hit on both Babs and Bart a bit since it is also anti-parasitic, but its not a primary ABX. I did take Zith and Rifampin with IV Rocephin, and maybe consider adding Bactrim DS as well.

The two main ABX for Bart are Levaquin or Cipro, but both are pretty toxic with black box warnings on tendon ruptures and permanent neuropathy.

I am also on IV Rocephin but for Lyme. What is your dose of each? when are you taking them?
What else is in your protocol?
What are you doing to detox?

I'll share right off the bat - I've been told by specialists, including my LLMD, and have read in a few sources that Rocephin is ineffective against Bart.

Talk w/ your LLMD about why she is prescribing it for Bart - ask for studies. Vancomycin IV really hit bart well for me. Was a tough start but I'm now doing great. Took a few months.
