Anyone get sudden weakness in arms?

Still having some neck stiffness and terrible head pressure. My shoulders, elbows, wrists, and arms have been aching lately too, both muscles aches and joint aches. I thought part of it may be the damp, rainy weather we've been having.

Today, I don't seem to have strength in my grip - I couldn't use the stapler! - and my arms feel weak. Is that a normal lyme symptom? I don't remember having it before. No numbness or tingling....just no strength.

Just trying to figure out if it's from the infection or if it's more of a structural issue due to my neck.

Sore heavy weak muscles can be Lyme, Bart, EBV, and maybe even Babs. Many of us experience this and the weakness is one of my remaining lingering sx along with fatigue. The changes on the weather don't help, but blame it mostly on the disease.

They will improved with treatment.

Honestly, it could be from either, although I'd lean more towards issues with Lyme and co personally. It's been my infections more often than actual structural issues with my neck, and I have nearly constant issues with my neck and upper back - but the arm weakness can come and go regardless of what my neck is doing.

I get this sometimes. Id say its a combination of the infection, inflammation, and structure. I do exercises to help my posture of the back and neck and it seems to help. It seems to me that whenever my posture is bad and my joints gets sore that the infection makes it much worse. I see a lot of people with worse posture than me and they are not in pain and having the problems that I am. So id say that it definitely is the infection.

Sorry to hear you have it still. My llmd suspects Babs and Bart....I think a lot of it IS being hit by the Biaxin. Aside from some tremors, I haven't had any other issues with my hands until now. It's so weird.

...although now that I look at them, my veins are really blue and pronounced now.

That's how my veins are too, and since my skin is so pale, it really looks wrong! LOL! That, I believe is due to Bart though. Inflammation on the inside of the veins.

Today, my hands are fine, my wrists are fine, and my veins are back to normal! So weird.
