Cordyceps capsules or tincture

Where is everyone buying their cordyceps from? I don't like the taste of the powder too much & Buhner recommends taking A LOT daily, so I thought I would try capsules. He specifies buying cordyceps that is vat grown. Who sells that?

I can't imagine the tincture tasting good either, but am considering it from Woodlands. Has anyone used this product?

I'm not sure what vat grown is.

Personally I do the powder, but the next best alternative would be to buy the powder and encapsulate them yourself.

To be honest, I found buying tinctures or pre-done capsules to be way too expensive over the long term (especially with multiple herbs going).

This is what I took and my husband is now taking. They do make a non-alcohol tincture. I take tinctures 1) because I take enough pills in a day and 2) because I have more control over the dosage than in pill form.

It just works for me, but we are all different.

I've bought most of my herbs from Woodland essence and they are good. They are also on Buhner's list of recommended sources.

I ran out of Hawthorne a few days ago and didn't want to order one item from WE so I went to my local health food store and bought a tincture from a different company there.

What a difference. Hawthorne has a distinctive taste - it's kind of fruity. There was none of that taste in this tincture....so I think I've wasted my money unfortunately. I should have wasted it on the shipping of the only item I needed from WE
