I've seen the reports of Baby Boomers being at a high risk for Hep C as well - I have not been tested, but my liver numbers have always been 'in range', even though I'm a Baby Boomer and have Lyme and company.
Yes, it's known that Lyme can cause hepatitis (inflammation of the liver), and there can be a viral component to hepatitis - so we have to watch for liver inflammation much of the time we are in treatment. So the main thing would be to discover what may be causing the liver inflammation, is it Lyme and company, or a viral issue?
