Diatomaceous earth and leaky gut

Well, I know that it messes with my innerds. I have to be careful to only use binders when I really need them. I do have leaky gut, but what keeps me 'in line' is that it can increase my constipation issues no matter what I do, which also increases intestinal cramping.

Also, I know with DE, it's microscopic algae that has super sharp edges. I researched it heavily as it's a non-toxic "pesticide" I use on my garden yearly. It looks like little "Chex" cereal under a microscope, and it makes little tiny cuts in soft sided bugs, and then gets inside and literally dehydrates them. I've watched ants walk across a line of DE and start squirming and squiggling around until they die just inches from the line of DE.

There are a handful of members using DE as a binder though. Hopefully they will be along to share what their experiences have been and thoughts as well!

And can I just say that I'm jealous that you don't deal with constipation even while on binders???? I guess that's a dream of mine! LOL!

I got to thinking about de food grade and that has to be hard on your intestines.

And I've been taking it since early January.

Taste doesn't bother me much, I've been downing some pretty nasty crap!

Heaven forbid I'd like something I eat. Although that pureed cauliflower and broccoli were pretty good. 😊
