need some encouragement

Looks like I get my Dr appt in Jacksonville on next Tues. Legs are so stiff and burning and twitching, it makes it so hard to gt around. I'm gonna let ht eDr there make the call as she is very lyme smart. I do know that in the past when I did the vancomycin htat all the neuro stuff went away for a while. I was reading about lyme persiseters and how Deptomycin is the number one abx to use. Vanco was 4th. It is so depressing every day to struggle out of bed and just keep going. some days I just want to lay there all day.

You're not alone. That often brings me comfort.

okay it has been over a month now. New Dr, went and prescribed 3 pulsing protocal for me. Started with Levaquin 500 daily, then tindemax daily, and riampfrin two pills twice a week. All this for 3 weeks with one week off. I am meeting with her this Thursday to discuss the next round of different abx for a 3 week period. Because I am strictly neuro with twitching, some weakness at times and burning in areas and alot of time in the thighs, I will push for IV Vanco. success has been great in past (2008) and (2013). Perhaps a longer period of treatment this time. THINK OF THE TERM LYME PERSISTERS... Research shows only certain abx work. Daptomycin,Vancomycin and two tohers for this. IV of course unless someone can tell me of success with neuro issues and oral vancomycin?
