I have blue eyes, but have the advantage of having healed once, so I know that my issues are due to the infections.
The fluorescent lights in stores used to bring on more brain fog, and chemical sensitivities (to perfumes/aftershaves/other smells) would send me into an absolute panic attack every time for a while. The more I detoxed and healed, the less it would bother me. Now, I just don't like being in stores for very long because they exhaust me. I can go 'play' outside for hours, but leave me in a store for an hour, and I'm toast.
What I did when I was at my worst was to wear one of those big floppy hats, sunglasses and used an MP3 player every time I went into a store. It was an amazing help! I could suddenly shop for what I needed and get out of the store without having to 'race out' to only calm the panic attack because I couldn't find my way out of the store (even though I had passed by the exit several times, it just didn't register) - only to have to calm myself in the car and try again. We needed the groceries!!! I couldn't just go home and hubby was working 12 hour days, 7 days a week back then, so I couldn't ask him to go for me either!
