My apologies - In a funk. Caution - whine post!!!

I'm sorry, but my life has been over taken by stress (ACK!!) and I'm in such a funk over the lack of control at times. I was starting to see improvements (along with some issues, but that's to be expected), and here comes a TON (and I do mean a TON) of stress. Well, it's caught up to me.

Whine, whine... I struggle with eating anyway, but now I've completely lost my appetite. If I think of the food I'm about to eat, I can't eat. Everything sounds like it will make me puke.


Whine, whine... I had to really work to convince myself that I MUST take my herbs and supplements yesterday and today so far. It feels sooo never-ending right now and I'm just tired of it all.

Whine, whine.... my innerds are in a rebellious streak. They just are NOT happy campers no matter what I do, and it's been a LOOOONNNNGGGG 54 years living with these emotional innerds! (Ugh)

And, I could go on, but you all know what this is about - WHINING!!! And I'm officially whining today.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Thanks for listening. LOL. It helps when I can reach out to those that truly understand what we struggle with. It's not just one or two things, but often the whole darned body that's just not happy. And, my body IS NOT a happy camper.

Oh - and I am herxing, but only at low levels - ie, some nerve pain/burning, muscle twitches, a bit of brain sluggishness, but nothing at all like what I have been through.

"Lucky because I don't want to eat" - if only!!! Not eating enough calories puts the body into "starvation mode" and there's no loosing weight, plus we aren't getting the nutrients we need for our body to operate well, much less heal a very complex, all encompassing infection.

But, I like your response better! LOL!!!

My poor hubby had a test (myelogram) where they injected dye into his spinal cord so they could see exactly where the nerves lay in his neck (spinal fusion surgery soon), and he's had Lyme before. That night, he told me that they told him that the dye will make any problem areas cramp and burn, and he rolled over on his side and said, "I'm so sorry. I keep forgetting that you still live with this. I feel like I have Lyme all over again" - I nearly cried, and he was the one in pain!

Hang in there, PK!!! We will struggle to force feed ourselves together!!!!! Maybe we should become neighbors so that we can force feed each other.... or at least have food fights???

LOL! Well, it would be difficult to get an RV to my house!! LOL! The road isn't exactly "good". LOL. But it keeps the "looky loo's" at a minimum!

And, if you are looking to get away from the bugs - do NOT come to Arkansas!!! There's more kinds of bugs here than I've ever seen! LOL! And I've lived in the National Forests in Arizona, and have lived in several other states (way out in the boonies most of the time) in the midwest and western US.

Thanks CA - although I do have to admit that I'm not thinking as clearly as I would like (partly from pain, partly from the funk), I still have a deep desire to help anyone I can. I think there are many that will do these things - reaching out to help others even though they feel like warmed over poo!!!!

LOL! Well, thank you, HappyTrails!! I don't mean that it's not hard for others - I know it is. I've just been at this for so long that at times it gets really overwhelming, and very difficult to continue. It helps for me to whine to a group that actually understands what I'm dealing with and how difficult each day can really be - then I'm usually pretty good the next day! LOL! Just 'getting it off my chest' rather than holding on to it and struggling with it alone is an amazing thing.

Well since we're whining... I'd like to whine that I can't seem to drink much of my beloved red wine anymore. I read somewhere that tequila is actually a probiotic so occasionally I have a chilled shot of the good stuff & it doesn't bother me but gone are the days when I can enjoy a couple of glasses of red wine with my husband at night because I wake up and can barely move. I hate that!!!!

My husband returning to Canada 😊 would make him very happy!

Traveler - so sorry to hear you're not doing well. Shedding tears for you. I was just thinking to myself the other day, how tired I am of choking down all the nasty tasting herbs and I've only been at it a few months. I can only imagine your frustration!

Well, since I've never been to Canada, it would be an adventure!!! LOL! I used to live just 60 miles south of the border when I lived in Northern Idaho - boy, was that cold!! LOL!

The good news is that with experience, I know that I will be able to get past the 'shock' of the stress and get back on track....it's just until that happens.....ugh.

AND - I just got a bit of good news!!! One of my 'stresses' has been lifted from my plate!!! I'll be able to get really excited about this later. LOL.

Trav, I know a little how you feel with ups and downs. My work stress sends me over the edge way too often, but it's double edge, since my work gives me some sense of normalcy in my road to recovery.

You may whine for the rest of the day, then take the rest of the day off from Moderating the rest of us. whiners 8^).

I like to previous comment on tequila shots. I here it's also gluten free. I'll have a shot for you on way home tonight, but only one.

I'm sorry that you are having so much stress right now. I hope it passes soon and you can get back to healing. Hang in there...

You have every right to come here and vent just like the rest of us. This disease is very complicated, frustrating, and overwhelming.

I think sometimes we forget that the people who are mods here are also very sick and suffering. Yet they spend time on answering everyones questions and helping them to not feel so alone.

Hoping and wishing you have better days ahead. Someday all the up and down days will end and you will be healed again.

Maybe you can try something like Garden of Eden protien/green powder or Green vibrance to make a shake. It would give you nutrients etc when you aren't able to eat other things.It's packed full of good things .
