Many herbs or teas chill the body because they are of 'cold' nature in Chinese traditional medicine.
For example, green tea, taken no matter in which temperature, will chill the body, as well as chlorella. Very 'cold' herbs.
I usually balance them with hot food, hot herbs (like fermented teas are usually warm), spices such as cinnamon, garlic, too.
Chills and feeling cold (low grade 'fever') are a hallmark for lyme too. I'd been on totally chilly, to cold, then to totally freezing, from times to times.
And herxes, for me, could cause chills.
Tired by 5pm? Consider yourself lucky!! I was dead tired the whole day!!

Less emotional is good, I find (less neuro lyme, probably...).
What herbs are you on?
