I use Ortho Molecular brand Ortho Digestzyme.

Seems to help the gut issues only problem is remembering to take them before I eat lol.

I've not bought a formula for this, but I do try to eat fresh pineapple more than I used to.

Every little bit helps, I think.

When my SIL had her gall bladder removed...she had some discomfort after eating meals...especially if there was a lot of fat involved.

I bought her a Digest aid - these are the ingredients:

Bile Salts (ox bile) 100mg
Lipase (whole cell) 10mg
Bromelain (fruit) 10mg
Trypsin (whole cell) 10mg
Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) 10mg
Charcoal (activated carbon) 10mg
Goldenseal (Hydrastis Canadensis L.) 10mg

This was many years ago... but it worked very well for her.

I didn't have lyme...or know anything about it...interesting to see that Activated charcoal is in the 'mix'.
