Hello all

I'm new to this forum I hope you may help me with my LimeSpot analysis. I have not visited any doctors yet because of long queues. But to not loose time I have decided to do all possible before I visit the specialist. First thing I did was the LymeSpot.

My symptoms are:

- bad vision
- memory loose
- low blood pressure
- inability to think clearly
- dizziness
- after taking metronidazole for helicobacter pylori I had a really heavy tooth pain
- heart stings
- depression
- gastric problems (nothing was detected in 6 days hospitalisation)

As I was 7 I had my first tick bite. Than as I was 11, 16, 21. A month ago I had a fifth one (may 2017). Now I'm 27

Here are the results in SI units:


Borrelia burgd. fully antigen IF-G: 1
Borrelia peptid mix IF-G: 1
Borrelia LFA-1 IF-G: 1

Borr. burgd. fully antigen IL-2: 1
Borrelia peptid mix IL-2: 2 +
Borrelia LFA-1 IL-2: 1

What do you think about this? What should I do next?

Hi ReneF - welcome to our community.

Well, you've certainly had more than your fair share of tick bites!

..and those symptoms you listed - could definitely be lyme and co's.

Could you post the ranges for those test results?
(If I'm remembering 3 is positive? and a 2 is borderline?)

You asked what to do next? You should seek out a LLMD and schedule an appointment.
All those tick bites with symptoms - even with a test that isn't 'positive' - I think you should be evaluated.

Are you located in Europe?

Those look like low titers in the negative and weak positive range. I did the same test with only slightly higher titers. I also did the CD57 test and a range of co infections.

The combination of all these tests and symptoms led to a diagnosis. What was also commented is that the titers can be lower if Cd57 and NK cells are down because this is a measure of the health of your immune system. If your immune system is in trouble or won't be active against borrelia and produce the antibodies, antigens or other stuff that these tests detect.

Don't have an answer for you for what is best to do, but I at least found the CD57 test useful but I realise there are mixed opinions about this (as everything else regarding Lyme)

so, it does say borderline - I would see a LLMD.
