I'm new to this as well, but I do know for the past nine months (since I've had active symptoms) I've been sick (in the traditional sore throat, fever way) five times. This is highly unusual for me. Every time it starts with a little congestion and cough, then a sore throat followed by a fever (usually around 101-102 degrees) and chills. The fever lasts about one day, the sore throat for several and the cough lingers for awhile. Sometimes my hip pain will be worse during this time, but not always. I also don't take anything as my LLND has me on several vitamins, supplements and banderol (just added) and I'm not sure about interactions. I just pack myself in frozen vegetables to lower the fever and ride it out.
This usually does not coincide with my typical neuro/GI/joint flares.
I meet with my LLMD for the first time in two weeks. Hopefully he'll be able to curb this unpleasantness.
