Does Lyme affect accuracy of std tests

My std tests came back negative but I have odd symptoms I don't trust labcorp since they can't even get other tests right
Anyone know if you have Lyme that it might give you a false negative on std tests?? You can email me if not comfortable posting. I'm really scared. I don't trust dr to be the know all since they have failed me many times

I'm sorry that I really don't know much about this. I do know that it would depend on which STD you believe you could have. Things like HIV testing is pretty accurate now.

I am not sure, but if Lyme has depleted your immune system enough that it does not make sufficient antibodies it may have an impact. Only speculation from my side here though.

I don't know which one you are afraid of but of it's HIV I wouldn't worry about it if you habe tested according to guidelines. The newest tests are very good as traveler mentioned and test both antibodies and antigens. If you're really freaked out you can do a PCR test as well
