Just wanted to say that one of the key symptoms of Lyme is dry mouth. I have this very frequently at night. Dry mouth can and does cause dental issues. But then again, it can stem from a number of reasons, and doesn't have to have a Lyme connection specifically.
The x-rays show severe bone loss, there is hardly any gum covering the tooth anymore - had cleanings, got a Water Pik and started taking care of my immune system - but the damage was already done and couldn't be reversed. I'm at the point where I have to take into consideration other factors such as bacteria from old dental procedures (root canals, bridges etc) that couldn't be helping my over-all condition and could actually be making the symptoms of CLD worse, So a lot to think about
now.
