Before I came back positive for bart, I went to an ENT for this and other related vision/dizzy/nauseous problems (scrolling on my phone or computer, changing gaze direction while walking, driving, etc). They did a VNG test in an effort to help me rule out inner ear problems. Well, it did rule out inner ear problems and landed me square with my first definitive diagnosis of something being wrong with my CNS: central vertigo. I started seeing a vertigo therapist, but I stopped when I got my bart diagnosis as I've come to understand I need to beat back the bacteria and not just treat symptoms. Needless to say, some days it makes work and travel challenging as I get nauseous and feel like I'm going to fall down. Or I get tunnel vision. I'm very hopeful it will resolve itself as I treat.
